In my
research about rhythm in art, I found that rhythm is a movement or procedure
with uniform or patterned recurrence of a beat, accent, or the like. Rhythm in
art is also very close to this definition. Rhythm in art is a recurrence of
elements or motifs at regular or irregular intervals. I believe that this
painting has this feature because, when you look at the sea and the sky you can
see that there are all same motifs with different colors and different toning. Also,
you can see that in the city even there are lots of lights and dark places in
it, the motif the artist used are all same, again with different colors and
different tonnings.
