Arch 102 Final Assignment

In this assignment we were given with a short story named, The Garden of Forking Paths, we were expected to read it. Then we were given with abstract painting and we were expected to transform this abstaract painting into a topography which provides us some paths and different spatial features. Then we were expected to design an architectural intervention which helps us to define the paths and spaces.

In this step of the exercise we were expected to design an intervention accommodating watching, waiting, walking in front of the Main Library Building.

In this exercise we were expected to visit the entrance of the Main Library Building amd the surrounding area and observe and record the human activities for a whole day. Then with these observations we need to make a map for every activity pattern.

Then turn it into 3D abstraction.

In this exercise we were expected consider various levels of visual interaction in order to reveal and/or conceal certain views of our choice. Then, design a "Specto" by using one of the construction methods: sectioning, aggregation, modulation, etc. in 1/10 scale.

In this exercise we were expected to create our own choreography. Then, create a 3D representation of this choreography. Then, represent this new choerography in an abstract 3D form.

In this exercise we were expected the watch the Apple's Airpod commercial video and analyze the motion / speed / form / movement patterns / sequences / relationship between the body and space. Then, we create a 3D representation of the movement in the video.

Arch 102 Warm Up Exercise

In this exercise I was expected to design a representation of 'Distortion' concept with the materials I already have.

So, I decided to create a certain rule and tried to distort it by transforming the third cube into a pyramid.
